The Beautiful Era
La Belle Epoque (The Beautiful Era) was a time period between the late 1800s and early 1900s during which, art, literature and music flourished in France. In particular, this cultural and artistic revolution emerged from the heart of Paris, where Vincent Van Gogh and his brother Theo lived.
Van Gogh is one of the most famous artists of La Belle Epoque. Sadly, Vincent only sold one painting in his lifetime. However, after his passing in 1890, due to the 'art nouveau' open minded liberalism of La Belle Epoque movement, Van Gogh's art work became respected and admired for the first time.
The 'VinScent: La Belle Epoque' collection is to honor this important historical time period during which Vincent Van Gogh created his greatest masterpieces, such as Starry Night (1888).
